Post 61. What share of British adults identify as vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian?
A recent YouGov poll with British adults asked respondents to self-report their dietary choices. 70% described themselves as meat eaters; 16% as flexitarians, 5% as vegetarian; 3% as pescetarian, and 2% as vegan. It will be interesting to see how self-reported trends change in the future. By age you can see a different picture emerging with younger respondents much less likely to self-report as meat eaters.
